My husband and I could not be happier with our experience of working with Riteway Builders to build our forever home. Chad was amazing during the floor plans design process. We had lots of bumps due to unforeseen concerns. But he helped us work through them, with the assistance of their entire team. Once the building started, Tyler was the man. Great communication. Worked through the few bumps, always with solutions. We had never been through the process of building a home, and we would highly recommend working with Riteway Builders for your home if you are looking for a local builder. We were living onsite during the entire build, so we saw everything that was done and how the subcontractors worked every day. Thank you to everyone at Riteway!!!

We had Riteway Builders do an addition onto our home, we told them what we were thinking and they were able to create a home that we never would have thought we wanted! They were very easy to work with through the entire process and had an app that we knew when and what was getting done! Communication was excellent and they made sure the subcontractors did their jobs correctly. They stopped by weekly and sometimes daily to check on the progress. We couldn’t be more happy with the end result!

Riteway builders recently completed a new home for us in Emmett Idaho. We’re extremely happy with the quality of the work and with the management of the construction process. Riteway builders uses a project management tool call Builder Trend. They are really good about posting photographs during the construction phase if you can’t be on site. Also Riteway uses Builder Trend to track change orders. You always know exactly where you are with relationship to the total project cost. We found Riteway to be very accurate on the forecast of the completion schedule.

I was on site during the summer construction. I talked with several of Riteway subcontractors. They’ve all been with Riteway for several years and worked as an integrated team to complete the project on time, on budget and at the quality agreed to. Our new house was built on a hillside and required some more involved earth work. Riteway was able to create a good building pad and road for us under unique conditions. All of the Riteway suppliers were easy to work with and helped us select the options within our budget.

The permit process can be difficult if you’re new to the area. I was impressed how well Riteway works with Gem County and other government agencies having jurisdiction. Riteway provides full service with all of the permits, inspections and other construction services required.We had an issue with the septic system which had been installed about 12 years earlier but not used. Riteway was able to work with the state of Idaho and only correct the deficiencies in the drain field without having to install a complete new system.

I was impressed with how Riteway worked with us during the design phase of the project. They had a architectural company that prepared the drawings which are required to get the permits and for the sub contractors do do estimates. You do pay upfront for the drawings but the price was extremely reasonable. The drawings are done in such a way that the review process is very easy. During the design phase Riteway works with you to come up with the best design that fits your budget. They’re willing to revise the drawings several times until you get exactly what you want. At that time the construction drawings are produced for the permit process.

If you are having a custom home constructed in south west Idaho I highly recommend Riteway Builders.

Riteway builders did an excellent job building a pole barn/shop for us. The 40’x50’ pole barn/shop was built in a location that required well water line and well electrical line to be relocated. Riteway builders did this without any issues. I especially appreciated the scheduling of work to be done which was spot on. I would highly recommend Riteway to build this type of structure or a house as well. My experience has been they are a from start to finish company with quality unsurpassed.

We bought our family property in September of 2022, by Oct 2023, Riteway Builders had built two homes for us, which included the installation of our well, septic system, power and road construction. We’ve been in our house for four years now, and still absolutely love it.  Riteway was a pleasure to work with throughout the process of building our home. They were down-to-earth, unpretentious, and 100% transparent (a complete 180° from other builders we’d spoken to). They worked with us on the design of our house to make sure we were getting exactly what we were envisioning. Once construction started, things started happening fast! We made almost daily trips to the site and would be amazed at the amount of progress being made. And we were impressed with the amount of communication we got from Riteway throughout the process. We are beyond thrilled with the work that Riteway Builders did on our off-grid shop in the mountains. Despite the inherent challenges of building in such a remote location, their team did an amazing job. We built our dream home with Riteway Builders and could not be happier with our home. We moved in in October, on time. From a customer service perspective, they could not have done anything better. They are professional, respectful, and friendly. They said their goal was for us to still be friends at the end of the build. We are. I could tell that was their goal based on the communication throughout the process and the fact that they never gave us cause to wonder about their integrity. Their replies to all questions–extremely prompt and thorough. Above and beyond must be their motto. As just one of the many examples: We sold our other home in July and it needed a lot of repairs before we could close on it. We asked Riteway if they would be able to help us, or how we could best take care of the list in the fastest and most economical way, and they got them taken care of. Seemingly happily! Everything is answered with, “not a problem”. I know he has many projects going on and he never seems rushed or stressed. He always had time for small talk and time to appreciate the house build at every stage with us.

The budget did NOT run over–on anything! They set it at the beginning and it is completely transparent. This is no run of the mill experience. What you get is a high value for your money. It was very helpful to see how money and time were being managed. They use an app called BuilderTrend that allows you to go online and see what is scheduled and when including when our home finish selections were due. COVID hit in March when we started. Though it slowed many things down it didn’t cause us any problems. If it caused Riteway problems, we didn’t know it. It is obvious that the subs they work with are highly skilled, competent, and friendly, and give top priority to Riteway. Attention to detail is the best. They are a tight-knit, family-run, and family-oriented business that made us feel like part of their family. Our home is a beautiful, one of a kind treasure. We can’t thank them enough!

This was our very first remodeling experience so we approached it very cautiously; having heard mostly horror stories of general contractors. Riteway was a dream!
